West Side Highway

The West Side Highway travels along the western side of Manhattan, along the Hudson River.  Its nearly 6 miles of roadway starts at the very south of Manhattan and travels north past the West Village, Meatpacking District, and Midtown West to 72nd Street. From there, the roadway becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway, although most people refer to the entire roadway as the West Side Highway. It ends at the very tip of Manhattan at the toll for the Henry Hudson Bridge connecting Manhattan to the Bronx.
