The Long Island Railroad (LIRR) provides train coverage from Penn Station in NYC to the very tip of Long Island. The LIRR goes through Queens, a little bit of Brooklyn, Nassau County, and Suffolk County. Click on the map below to enlarge.


Run by the MTA, the LIRR has 7 different train lines and is used by approximately 302,583 people every week.

New fares went into effect on March 1, 2013. The previous rate increase was on December 30, 2010.
